MUM'S LAST BIRTHDAY BEFORE SHE PASSED ON 17/12/08
Just wanting to wish you a Happy Birthday Mum as it would have been your 70th today.
Me, Martin, Dad and Caz went to your favourite place to eat today and then me and Caz went shopping, another of your favourite passtimes!.
To commemorate your Birthday today i brought a new charm for my Pandora bracelet, an angel. Everytime i see it it will remind me of you and the special day we had.
Mum never ever forget how much we love you and know that one day we will be able to celebrate your Birthday together again.
Below is the card i made you and a pic of your memorial after all of your special Birthday gifts were left.
Happy Birthday to the best Mum in the world. Miss you every single day. Love you always, Clare xxx

Hi Clare, Just wanted to say thank you so much for the lovely message you left on my blog. I have had a quick read of your blog and see what you mean about how similar our lives have been. I think it's wonderful to celebrate your Mum's birthday. I "speak" to my Dad every day and miss him so much and I can see you miss your Mum just as much. I was interested to read about your work at the hospice which I think is amazing as I sell my cards to raise funds for Macmillan. I understand that it would be extremely hard to go to the hospice where your Mum was. Recently I've had to sit in the waiting room with my Mum in the same cancer dept where we lost my Dad last year, it's been very hard. Thanks again so much for your kind words, I will sign up to follow you and hope to see what you've been up to soon! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh Clare and Helen...thinking of you both.
ReplyDeleteThat card is just stunning Clare..love you loads marg xxxx
Thankyou for your lovely messages. I can imagine Mum being somewhere really peaceful & serene like the image on my card. She loved scenes like these xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Clare
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card for your mum and I'm sure she's very proud of you. It's hard to lose someone, especially before their time. I think of my Dad such a lot even though it's almost 38 yrs since he died and I was only 5. My greatest fear is waking up one day and being able to remember his face because I was so young. Keep your Mum in your heart Clare and she'll never leave you.
Hugs
Brenda xx
Oh Missy Clare..sorry I have not been looking in blogland lately & missed this, but you & Helen know I am thinking of you. How lovely a memorial have you made for your mum...it is truly wonderful. Enjoy your newest little angel.
ReplyDeleteLove to you xoxoxo
What a beautiful and touching tribute to your Mum! You and I have something to share in the month of September don't we? Thanks for your kind comments as well. They were much appreciated. My best to you and your family. Curt
