HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Happy Sunday my friends. Hope everyone is well. I am just getting ready for the little visitors to be collected. I feel quite sad as the piggies are so beautiful. Also it will be the last time I will see little Sam squirrel before he goes out into the big wide world. There has been plenty of hugs and fusses today.

I am going to share a card with you which has taken me all week to make!!! that is how little time I have had to create and I also have a bad infection in my right thumb so have been in agony with that the past few days. I am really happy with it though and sometimes taking one's time can be good!!!.

I have decorated the inside of the card too and added one of the bears which I have layered. I have made it for my lovely Sister's Birthday in a couple of weeks time. Hope she likes it!.

INGREDIENTS
WHITE & RASPBERRY BAZZILL CARD
SASSAFRAS "CHERRY DELICIOUS" PATTERNED CARD
LOTV TEDDY BEAR & SENTIMENT STAMPS
WILD ORCHID POPPY AND HAT PINS
KAISER BLING
DOILY FROM STASH
PROMARKERS (TAN, SANDSTONE, VANILLA, IVORY AND CARAMEL)
FLEXMARKER (LIGHT FAWN)
CIRCLE NESTIES

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges;

CRAFTY CREATIONS CHALLENGE - Running in circles
LILI OF THE VALLEY  - Anything goes
LETS INK IT UP - Favourite embellishment (ribbon and flowers)

I now need to get back into the craft room as I still haven't made my Christmas Card Club card which is due today (sorry girls!!!).

Big hugs Clare xxx

  11. Hi Clare, this is a stunner, inside and out. I love the image and how you have layered it up, and the layout is fabulous. She will absolutely love it.
Sorry to hear you have had an infection in your thumb I hope it's improving hun.
I was sad too when I read that Ben hadn't survived as was my daughter, I had shown her the photos and the post and she was rooting for him too. Such a happy ending for the squirrel though. How satisfying for you when all your hard work comes to fruition.

  17. wow Clare such a beautiful card - lovely colours, fab layout and fantastic colouring! I'm not surprised it took you a long time to make given that you've an infection in your thumb! Have just been looking at your creations and creatures - gorgeous cards and you are one animal lover!
Now I'm being cheeky but do you remember where you purchased the square doilies from? Saw them on Victoria's blog and now yours and I want to purchase some - if you don't mind please let me know where you purchased them. Many thanks Karen x

    1. Hi Karen thank you for your lovely comments hun. No worries and not being cheeky at all asking about the doilies. I got them from an EBAY seller called the Doily Dealer. Helena Wilson's email address is poppyscabindc@btinternet.com she sells then in 5", 8" and 10.5" squares and lots of other different shapes. They are so reasonably priced too and she gives multi buy discounts (99p and 5p for any extra purchases). If you have any problems getting hold of them Helen just email me and I will always get them for you. Hugs Clare xxx
