A Baby Card & Hedgehog Update!!!

I am now able to show this card that i made for a dear friend who has become a Grandmother for the third time. I had to get the card made before i knew whether bubba was going to be a girl or boy as it had to go to Australia in with a parcel.
I just had a feeling that babe was going to be a girl but thought i should not tempt fate so kept it open for either sex.
I should have used my instinct as 2 days after it was posted baby Evie was born (2 weeks early!). She is beautiful & would like to say congratulations again Margi & family, and of course baby Evie xxx

This was another image sent to me by the lovely Keryn which is by Stampavie called "Garden Bears" i reckon it is sooooo cute.

Hope you are all having a lovely day, it is so beautiful outside today. I am also feeling very happy as one of our little hedgehog visitors has come out of hybernation & survived the winter. We have little hedgie cabins in our back garden & i just love looking after the wildlife (we also feed a fox every night!). The little hedgehog is currently residing in one of the cabins & comes out to feed everynight.

It is now that time of the year for Clare's Hogwatch which i do annually so stay tuned & i will keep you all updated. Here is a couple of pics from last year to keep you all going;

ONE OF OUR NIGHTLY VISITORS. EEWWWW YES THAT IS A SLUG ON THE FEEDING DISH!!!

SIMONE NEXT TO ONE OF OUR HEDGEHOG CABINS READY TO GO INTO THE GARDEN

BABY CEDERICK

THIS WAS BABY CEDERICK WHO I LOOKED AFTER BRIEFLY LAST SUMMER AFTER LOSING HIS MUMMY. HE WAS SO YOUNG TO SURVIVE WITHOUT HER SO WE TOOK HIM INTO A WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTRE FOR PROPER CARE BUT UNFORTUNATLEY HE DIED.

Big Hugs Clare xxx

  4. Melinda i think that name could be a winner "Hedgeville Memoires" for 2010!!! Yes i know i often think about poor little Cederick & still feel real sad about him. The only consilation i get is knowing that the time we looked after him & when he went to Monica's little wildlife hospital he was so well looked after & did not die alone & out in the wild without his Mummy. OMG i feel really teary!!!! lets see if we can help more this year.

    Margi we are all so happy that you now have a pink baby! i will be on the hunt for little pink dresses for baby Evie when i go out next! Hugs girlies xxxx

  8. Hi Clare - Thanks so much for visiting my blog :)

    This card is fab and a great idea to do one teddy in each colour too.

    As I can see you're a 'cat person' too I just have to tell you about Penni's little darlings - you may have visited before but if not click here!
